Optima boosts turnover by 20 pct in Q1, aims for regional development

Romanian outsourcing company Optima registered an increased of its turnover by 20 percent in the first quarter of the year, compared with the same period of 2016. The company is set to create another 100 jobs after securing a financial support from the state.

“The priority of this year is the human resource development. We invest in people. At the end of 2016, we signed an agreement with a financing agreement in which the state will support us and we’ll create 100 new work places at the Iasi office in the next two years. We continue the regional development and we’ll soon open a new office in the country,” said Daniel Mereuta, general director of Optima.

This year, the company will increase the salaries of its employees by 10-15 percent, depending on their level of experience.

“Every entry-level employee will have a salary increase by approximately 10 percent at three months from their employment, according to their position and performance. This year, we will increase the salaries up to 15 percent for more than half of our colleagues, according to their performance, “ said Mereuta.

Optima was founded in 2010 and its headquarter is in Bucharest, operating also in Iasi. Currently the company has 300 employees.
