Over 150 American companies will visit Romania during Trade Winds, an event organized in Bucharest by the Embassy of Romania to the United States of America and the US Department of Commerce in October.
According to Romanian Ambassador to the United States George Maior, who participated in the launch of the preparations for the Trade Winds event, “organizing this important event in Romania shows not only the interest of the American business environment for trade and investment opportunities, as well as the growing scale of the economic dimension of the Romanian-US Strategic Partnership. Developing this dimension remains one of the priorities of our diplomatic missions, and the launch of this program now, only a few months since the new US administration confirms the very good premises our entire bilateral relation is based on,” Maior said.
Preparing the Trade Wind event involves a series of activities jointly organized by the Romanian Embassy and several American agencies in Washington and other locations in the US destined. The activities will be an opportunity for representatives of the US business environment to get acquainted with Romanian realities. Among them, in May the Romanian embassy will organize an interactive seminar on the business environment in Romania, with the participation of the main US companies on the East Coast.
Trade Winds is an annual event of the US Department of Commerce organized together with partner states that show an attractive economic and business profile for US companies. It represents a large scale economic mission with a regional character. The event will attract companies in the sectors of industry, services and more. Representatives of the business environment in Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Serbia and more.
