Mulberry Development, the real estate developer controlled by Ovidiu Sandor, has inked the first leasing deal for the first phase of ISHO Offices, the mixed-use project built in Timisoara.
Survey Sampling International (SSI) will be the first tenant of the new office. The company is a global supplier of data and technology for various industries and operates through a network of 40 offices in 20 countries.
In Timisoara, SSI plans to have 200 employees in the new offices that will be delivered next spring.
“We are extending our office in Timisoara and we needed a flexible solution that could ensure the growth options of our center,” said Chris Watson, European managing director SSI.
Meanwhile, the developer has ongoing negotiations with several companies already present in the city and with new ones willing to open offices in ISHO.
“The interest generated by our projects exceeds our expectations, we have advanced negotiations with several services companies, respectively with IT profile. Although we are 7 months away from the completion of the first stage of the office building, soon we will announce new lease contracts,” said Sandor, the CEO of Mulberry Development.
The first phase of ISHO will have 18,000 sqm and will be delivered in 2018. The whole project spans 50,000 sqm and will be finished in 2020. It will host some 5,000 employees and 2,000 inhabitants in the residential section.
