Crin Antonescu, the head of the National Liberal Party (PNL) said the party is ruling out any patricipation to a “puppet” government organized by president Traian Basescu, also mentioning PNL has yet to find the winner of last Sunday’s elections. “PNL is seriously analyzing what the national interest entails, all the possibilities, so that Romania finds a rapid solution for the political and governmental crisis, after the country has an official and legitimate president. […] PNL rules out a collaboration with those political leaders who believe to behave using a dictatorship of their own will, like a sole party, those who understand and have always understood to use the state institutions in the interest of a single party,” said Antonescu. He also said that if PNL will be given the PM position, Antonescu himself will take the seat.
