Pegas workshops has opened a new store near Promenada Mall, following an investment of EUR 60,000. The new location comprises the store of approximately 60 sqm, a terrace of 40 sqm and a storehouse of 100 sqm.
“We aimed to be closer to the employees hired by corporations and we thought of this atypical building where we want to experience more. Besides our recently launched bicycles range, we’ll also have products developed by us, more exactly urban clothes. Moreover, Pegas is heading towards new technologies. Aside from the two projects smart bike, E-bike and hometrainer VR kit, we aim for the future to focus more on the virtual reality, so that Pegas factory to be the factory of the future,“ said Andrei Botescu, founder of Pegas workshops.
Pegas aim to launch a denim range for bicyclists produced in Romania, a T-shirts range, but also a complex range of accessories for the Pegas bicycle to upgrade the old ones. Moreover, a bicycles collection custom painted for urban artists will be launched.
For the new store, Pegas recruited a young team of biking teachers, so that people that don’t know to ride a bicycle to take classes at Bicycle School Pegas.
Pegas expects monthly sales of EUR 300,000 for this store.
