The PSD leadership had an executive council session today to decide upon the structure of the new government and the ministers who will lead each institution. About half of ministers from the Tudose cabinet will keep their roles, and the rest either stepped down or were replaced through decisions at the party level.
The government’s structure also suffered some changes, although PSD members had said it would remain the same as in the Tudose cabinet. One of the differences from the previous government is the fourth deputy prime minister role, which, according to PM Dancila, will target Romania’s special partnerships, such as the one with the United States.
The structure and membership of the new government is as follows:
- Prime Minister, Viorica Dancila
- Deputy PM and minister of Development – Paul Stanescu
