Posta Romana launches delivery service with personal courier

Posta Romana, the state-owned postal operator, has launched a new door-to-door delivery express system that provides a personal courier for its customers.

The company said that its same day delivery service will target mainly corporate clients, but it will also address individual customers in the urban area.

Initially, the new service will be available in 17 cities, including Bucharest, Cluj and Constanta.  For packages weighing below 5 kg, the delivery cost stands at RON 19, while for packages up to 10 kg the price climbs to RON 25.
