Profihairshop’s sales up by 25 pct in Q1 close to EUR 1.5 mln

Profihairshop, the retailer specialized in selling professional products for hair care, registered a growth in sales by 25 percent in the first quarter compared with the same period of 2016, to around EUR 1.5 million.

In the first three months of the year, the company continued its expansion at national level by opening another store, in Baia Mare, and expanded its store surface from Afi Palace Cotroceni. Currently, Profihairshop reached 27 units across the coutry, with an overall surface of over 1,100 sqm.

„We closed the first quarter with results over the initial estimations. The very good sales obtained this quarter is due mainly to the sustained increase of the professional products care, by approximately 25 percent annually. Also, it is due to the fact that Profihairshop online sales went up by 70 percent compared with the same period of 2016, a success for us, because of the new range introduced at the beginning of the year: professional products of make-up,” said Klaus Reisenauer, managing partner Profihairshop.

The highest sales were registered in hair care professional products, with an increase of over 30 percent compared with the same period of 2016, followed by styling products and hair dye, nails products, cosmetics and hair accessories.

The professional cosmetics products sold outside the beauty salons is estimated close to EUR 128 million, the highest share being in hair care lube (EUR 17 million).
