Marcel Ciolacu, leader of the Social Democratic Party (PSD) MPs announced on Tuesday that there is no schedule for submitting to Parliament the draft of the public sector wage bill. It is very unlikely, he added, that the step be taken this week.

According to Ciolacu, PSD MPs are currently submitting amendments to the public sector wage bill via e-mail. “We created a special e-mail address, both the ministry and the PSD group and all amendments are being sent both to the group as well as to the ministry. There are quite a few of them”, he said, adding that the project was sent to all parliamentary groups.

He added that the draft will be submitted after all debates will be completed as well as all amendments and after all parties will send their feedback.

Moreover, Ciolacu said there was no time frame for submitting the draft to Parliament. “This was not set, we will decide,” the PSD head said.

The draft can be read on the website of the Social Democratic Party.
