Qatar Airways has announced the launch of a second daily flight from Bucharest to Doha, starting August 2016. This year, the company celebrates five years of service for passengers from Romania.

The airline provides enhanced connectivity to the over 150 Qatar Airways destinations from the Middle East, India, Asia and Australia, starting August. The new flight schedule offers convenient travel alternatives, with daily take-off from Henri Coanda airport to Doha, at 13:10 and 20:35.

“Since the launch of the Doha – Bucharest route five years ago, we have grown from four weekly flights via Budapest to two direct daily flights. We are honored by the trust of passengers from Romania and delighted to facilitate access to Doha and faraway destinations, onboard modern aircraft, with the highest service standards in our industry,” said Natali Brodnik, commercial manager at Qatar Airways Romania.

Bucharest – Doha flights are operated with an Airbus A320, one of the 190 aircraft of Qatar Airways’ fleet.

Passengers traveling beyond Doha can spend their transfer time at the Hamad International Airport, a high standard airport in the Middle East according to the Skytrax world ranking.

Travel fares for the Bucharest – Doha route start at 730 euros, all taxes included.

In 2016 the company has won the Skytrax World Airline Awards for “World’s Best Business Class”, “Best Business Class Airline Lounge” and “Best Airline Staff Service in the Middle East”.
