Renault names new director at Titu Technical Centre

Renault Technologie Roumanie (RTR) appointed Anica Muntean, 48, as director of the Titu Technical Centre. She is replacing Fabrice Jouanny, the manager that coordinated the building of the centre and the first two years of vehicles and mechanical parts testing .

Muntean is the second local manager that replaces a French director in a top management position at RTR after Sorin Buse became general director of RTR in 2010.

The director has over 23 of experience in the Romanian auto engineering. She began her career at Dacia in 1989 and remained at the company after privatization.

Muntean headed the engineering divisions at Renault and participated in the industrialization of the Solenza, Logan, Sandero and Duster models. Last year, she became the technical director of the Titu center.

She graduated from the Polytechnics Institute in Timisoara.
