Romanian fashion brand Murmur makes Paris debut at Lafayette Galleries

Romanian fashion brand Murmur will make its debut in Paris, at the Lafayette Galleries. The products will be sold in a pop-up store that features several brands invited at the 2017 Salon International de la Lingerie.

Murmur creations are inspired by lingerie, thus managing to differentiates itself.

It is a real step forward for us in terms of opening and visibility at an international level, Lafayette Galleries being one of the best known names in the field. Ever since I was a student I have admired the initiatives and the exhibitions of the Galleries, and now, to be among the most innovative brands presented to clients, I see it as an honor and a confirmation of the brand value,” Andreea Badala, designer and founder of Romanian brand Murmur.

The selection to be displayed at the Lafayette Galleries includes Stark tights, worn by models such as Gigi Hadid.

Murmur creations are already sold in shops in New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Geneva, München, Amsterdam, Moscova and Dubai. The Lafayette Galerie, one of the most famous shopping venues in the world, sells fashion brands such as Givenchy, Armani, Burberry, DKNY, Lanvin, Karl Lagerfeld.

Launched in 2011, Murmur has a unique concept, that of pret-a-porter with retro influences, which integrates elements taken from lingerie, adapted in an innovative and feminine way in day or evening outfits.

Murmur creations are worn by A-listers such as Katy Perry, Madonna, Kylie Jenner, Beyonce, Lady Gaga and Fergie and were featured in Vogue UK, India, the Netherlands, Spain, Elle UK, Paper and Brides Magazine.
