Ruukki Romania turnover went up 18 percent last year

Ruukki Romania, the local division of Finnish manufacturer of metal solutions Rautaruukki Group, announces an 18 percent hike of 2010’s turnover on the local market, over initial estimates which sought an advance of 10 percent.
The local office provides operations and management in Bulgaria as well. Thus, the total results on both the Romanian and Bulgarian markets show a 13 percent advance, given that the market was more dynamic in Romania than in Bulgaria.
The results registered on the local market were supported by the increasing focus on renovations in the residential segment.
Finnish manufacturer Rautaruukki reported an advance of 20-25 percent of net sales in 2010. In Central and Eastern Europe sales increases were supported by the launch of new roofing products segment, according to company information.
