Smart Bill posts more than EUR 1 million turnover in 2016

Smart Bill posted a turnover in excess of EUR 1 million in 2016, one year after attracting an EUR 1 million investment from Calatyst Romania and Gecad Group, who now own over 30 percent of the company’s shares.

After receiving the investment, the company expanded its team and focused on developing the services it offers, in order to boost demand. Moreover, the company continued to develop the Smart Bill Solution, which received a total of EUR 800,000 investment in the past years, and launched the Gestiune Cloud version, offering new facilities on all platforms, including Mobile. In 2016, cloud sales were in high demand, and the company forecasts that the trend will be maintained in 2017 as well.

Serviciile Smart Bill are currently used by 45,000 clients, from freelancers to small and middle-sized companies and corporations, across all business sectors. Over one million documents are issued every month, with a value of over EUR 2 million per year.

In 2017, Smart Bill estimates a sales increase of over 25 percent, and the objective of the company is that to keep a two-digit annual growth.
