Smartree sees Q1 turnover gain 15 pct on higher HR outsourcing demand

Smartree, the HR consultancy, said that its turnover gained 15 percent to EUR 3 million in the first quarter of this year against the same period of last year as more companies have decided to outsource their payroll operations.

The consultancy has also seen higher demand for the personnel leasing operations.

“Out of all business lines, the biggest growth of around 19 percent, was recorded for in the temporary work segment. Both companies and employees have seen the advantages of this work style and its adoption is growing,” said Adrian Stanciu, CEO of Smartree. He added that the payroll outsourcing division and there is a growing number of companies that outsource their recruitment, training and expenses operations.

In 2017, the consultancy expects a 30 percent increase of its business, after recording a turnover of around EUR 12 million last year.
