SOCAR opens second gas station in Bucharest, reaching 36 units in Romania

SOCAR has opened the second gas station in Bucharest in the second district, reaching 36 stations across the country.

The station is fitted with a unit for recharging the electric cars, jetwash spaces, facilities for the acquisition of road tax, bills payment terminal, utilities and recharging phone cards.

SOCAR currently owns gas stations in Botosani, Suceava, Neamt, Iasi, Bihor, Bistrita, Buzau, Bacau, Vrancea, Timiş, Ilfov, Cluj, Valcea, Arad, Sibiu, Argeş and Bucharest. Azeri SOCAR is a producer of oil and natural gas.

Since 2011, the company has been present in Romania through the entity SOCAR Petroleum SA.
