Telecom operator Telekom Romania registered a decrease in revenues by 2.5 percent in the second semester of the year compared with the same period of 2016 to EUR 236 million, while the operational profit (Ebitda) went up by 5.4 percent to EUR 39 million, according to the operator.
In the first semester, Telekom Romania’s revenues fell by 2.1 percent to EUR 466 million, while Ebitda was flat at EUR 76 million.
The revenues generated by the fixed communications operations climbed in the second quarter to EUR 126 million, lower by 6.7 percent, while the revenues from mobile communications dropped by 3.7 percent to EUR 103 million.
The fixed communications decreased by 7.6 percent to EUR 243 million in the first semester, while the revenues from mobile communications went down by 3.3 percent to EUR 206 million.
The revenues from retail operations fell by 5.3 percent to EUR 144 million and the B2B operations decreased by 26.8 percent to EUR 41 million.
