Teraplast Bistrita opens subsidiary in Serbia to boost exports

Teraplast Bistrita, the producer of materials for installations and constructions, has opened a subsidiary in Serbia, in a move designed to increase the value of exports in this country.

Th Administration Council approved the setting up of a limited liability company (SRL) in Serbia, with a total share capital of EUR 10,000, according to News.ro.

Cuurently, the company operates in the Industrial Park Teraplast from Bistrita, with a surface of 20 hectares.

Teraplast group includes the company Teraplast, the subsidiary of Plastsistem, the subsidiary of Teraglas (starting April 2015), the subsidiary of Teraplast Moldova, the subsidiary Teraplast Logistic (starting June 2016) and Politub.

Teraplast Bistrita registered in the first nine months of 2016 a net consolidated revenue of RON 30.33 million, which is 36.57 percent higher than in the same period of 2015.

Teraplast group generated in the first nine months of the year a consolidated revenue of RON 310.9 million, a growth by 10 percent compared with the same period of 2015, an evolution sustained especially by the internal demand.

Also in the first nine months of 2016, the exports of the Teraplast group grew by approximately 28 percent compared with the same period of 2015.

Teraplasts exports in Germany, Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Italy, Bulgaria, Serbia and Begium.

The company has been listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange since 2008.
