The methodological norms for the law implementation regarding the professional management in the state-owned companies will be ready at the end of July, although the date stipulated by law is four months from the enforced date, June 4, says the minister of Public Finance, Anca Dragu.

“The famous law was enforced on June 4 and it requires that in 50 days from the enforcement of methodological norms, all the public authorities that have under their operation state-owned companies, to declare selection procedure. These methodological norms, according to the law, have to be elaborated in four months from the enforcement of the normative act, therefore in October, but we are in the stage in which, until the end of July, these norms will be finished,” said Dragu.

According to the minister, a work group was already formed, so that the Ministry of Finance together with other ministers, could develop these norms, that are taking into account the setting up of a unitary framework for the establishment of the selection criteria for the future managers.

Dragu also said that also the elaboration of methods for establishing the financial and non-financial indicators performance are a work in progress, but also the remuneration level.

According to her, in the new law, the selection process and naming of managers at the state-owned companies was clarified, considering that there were uncertain things that made the process hard and these legislation gaps were used to block the system.
