Starting October 11 until October 25, between 10 AM and 6 PM, the Romanian Museum of Peasant will host the exhibition “Oina” in Acvariu Room. The project “oina” is made by Bogdan Boghițoi and Sorin Vidis and investigates where and how the “oina” practice exists nowadays.
Oina was a traditional Romanian sport, but after the revolution, for most of Romanians it has become a simple word. However it represents a tradition, a form of socialization and a cultural asset.
The curiosity of the two developers of the project made them wonder how and where it exists today. At the beginning of this year, the photo album Oina has been stroke off in 200 units, available on the website of the project.
