Transalpina Ski Resort in Valcea has reopened two months after being shut. The local administration held a tender via Electronic System of Public Acquisitions (SEAP) but failed to attract bidders.
After the local authorities failed to attract bidders, they entered direct negotiations with the company that administered for five years. This led to the slope being reopened today.
According to stiri.tvr.ro, the potential investors did not feel too attracted by the prospect because they thought the EUR 250,000 royalty as well as other taxes paid were too big.
