Urgent Cargus secures RON 134 million loan from BCR, OTP Bank

Urgent Cargus has secured a RON 134 million syndicated loan from BCR and OTP Bank Romania. The loan will fund development projects, including the refinancing of existing loans. 

The loan has a 5 year maturity and was contracted to support the development of Urgent Cargus, including the refinancing of existing loans. Tuca, Zbarcea and Asociatii acted as a legal advisor for the banks, while the beneficiary received legal advice from Clifford Chance Badea.

Urgent Cargus, controlled by Abris Capital Partners, is one of the largest courier companies in Romania, and operates 72 warehouses and a fleet of 2,600 own and rented vehicles. Urgent Cargus transports 32 million parcels every year and employs over 1,000 staff.

Created in 2007, Abris is one of the largest active private equity funds in Eastern and Central Europe, managing capitals of over EUR 1,2 billion.
