Vastint Romania has concluded leases with dcs plus and Impact Hub Bucharest for a total of 3,350 square meters of office space in the mixed-use development project Timpuri Noi Square in Bucharest.

dcs plus – a global leading IT solutions provider for the travel and tourism industry – leased 1,675 m2. Mihai Paduroiu, Head of Advisory & Transaction Services CBRE, said: “CBRE Romania is very proud for the support given in the relocation process of dcs plus in Timpuri Noi Square office park, dcs being the first tenant. This transaction confirms the trend predicted by CBRE according to which local companies search for an improved working environment, to provide work-life balance, by placing the employees first on the priority list. As well, it confirms the quality of the project from a location point of view, amenities and high quality technical specifications.”

Impact Hub Bucharest leased also 1,675 square meters. The company offers award winning co-working space, an entrepreneurial minded community, business development & acceleration programs, crowdfunding opportunities, innovative conference formats and funky event space.

Eduard Turcoman, Senior Broker at Cushman & Wakefield Echinox said “Impact Hub Bucharest will relocate the activities to Timpuri Noi Square during Q3 of this year. They choose the Vastint project due to efficient floor plates and the need to be active in a Class A office park located in the city center. The Cushman & Wakefield Echinox team enjoyed making this transaction possible.”

Antoniu Panait, Managing Director at Vastint Romania, notes “The two tenants were particularly attracted to the fact that the office buildings offer a high-quality working environment and are combined with commercial and public services, all integrated in a dynamic and inviting plaza of recreation and fun. A place to gather, to meet and interact, a pleasant place to work and relax. The abundancy of amenities in the area – such as highly convenient public transport connection, educational centers, hospitals, shopping centers & market, Carol & Tineretului Park, major banks and further administrative hubs – are very appreciated as well.”

Timpuri Noi Square has a planned leasable area of 100,000 square meters of office and retail, plus 50,000 square meters of residential space. It is the largest mixed-use project in Romania today.
