Veranda shopping mall has reached an 80 percent occupancy rate after leasing 2,200 sqm to C&A and Altex, developer Prodplast Imobiliare announced. C&A will occupy some 1,600 sqm inside the mall, while Altex leases 600 swm.

The two brands, C&A and Altex, will join the list of tenants that visitors will be able to find inside Veranda shopping center with which we have already signed contracts for over 80 percent of GLA, of approximately 24,000 square meters. […] Also, given that we are in advanced discussions for another 10 percent of the surface, we are convinced that until the inauguration of the project it will be fully occupied,” said Andrei Pogonaru, developer of Veranda.

The project will have a GLA of 30,000 sqm and will be open in the last quarter of the year. With main anchors Carrefour (10,000 sqm) and H&M (2,200 sqm), the shopping center will host another 100 stores, restaurants and cafes. Veranda will have a parking lot with a capacity of 1,200 spots and a green area of some 15,000 sqm, which will become a skating ring during winters.

Developer Prodplast Imobiliare recently announced plans to invest up to EUR 2 million in infrastructure works in the Obor area. These works include the widening of Ziduri Mosi Street through the addition of two traffic lanes, one for each way, and also the modernization of the tram station in the area.
