Watterbest, one of the local leaders in roofs systems industry, obtained a turnover growth by 65 percent to RON 70 million in the first quarter of the year and a consolidated profit of RON 7 million and volumes of 2 million sqm.
This year, the company aims to invest EUR 1 million, especially for the acquisition of last generation equipments, expansion of the production lines and infrastructure development. The objective is the support of a constant annual growth of two digits, over the market average.
„ All these achievements represent the confirmation that we took the best decision by appointing my son Valeriu as general director. (…) I now have the possibility to focus on the strategic development of the firm and apply the vision of the 20 years experience in the field,” said Dragos Irimescu, founder of Wetterbest (photo).
The company has started to export in Bulgaria, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Belgium and France. The company estimates that in 2017 it will export around 100,000 sqm in value of EUR 1 million and it estimates that in 2019 the exports will reach 10 percent of the total turnover.
