What to do in Bucharest this weekend?

As July is coming to an end this weekend, but not the hot weather, there are still some events that you can attend, but don’t forget the sunglasses and the hat!

Since Thursday evening, UNTEATRU DAYS event will start, celebrating six years of existence. The micro-festival gathers people and shows important for the two directors and founders of UNTEATRU project- Andrei and Andreea Grosu, but also a series of concerts for music lovers. There will be seven days of shows, concerts, photography varnishing, design fair and a terrace with actors and theatre lovers. Moreover, the actor Hamish Linklater, the author of the “Vandalul” performance will be present at the premiere.

For rock music lovers the “Rock the city” tour will start Friday evening. Muse and Iron Maiden will attend the concert, on July 29 and 30, after a two-year break. Muse has over 20 million sold albums and over 50 awards, out of which three are Grammy Awards. Iron Maiden has over 90 million sold albums and over 2,000 live concerts in 59 countries.

On Saturday starting with 10:00 am and until evening the biggest air show, Bucharest International Air Show is scheduled on Baneasa airport for the airplanes and air shows lovers. There will be present the Romanian Air Forces, the Ministry of Internal Affairs airplanes, Spain Air Forces, US Air Forces, as well as Ukraine, Czech Republic, Greece and Bulgaria Air Forces. The famous pilot Jurgis Kairys will also attend, making his famous air moves. Moreover, the TNT team will have a parachute show and starting with 21:30 a concert with Mircea Baniciu, Vlady Cnejevici & Teo Boar and Nicu Alifantis is prepared.
