The colder weather, the snow and the Christmas carols concerts all say that Christmas is around the corner! These are our suggestions for this upcoming week-end.

On Saturday and Sunday the Madrigal National Chamber Choir will perform starting 5 pm at the Romanian Atheneum. With 53 years of an experience, the Madrigal National Chamber Choir prepared for this year a Romanian and international repertory of carols, under the leadership of Anna Ungureanu. The tickets prices start from RON 50.

On Saturday, from 8 pm, Camerata Regala, the assembly under the High Patronage of His Higness the Prince Radu of Romania, will hold a Christmas concert at the Romanian Atheneum. The event will be led by Sabin Pautza, leader and professor. The program includes plays of the composers Johann Sebastian Bach, Camille Saint-Saens, Joseph Haydn, Franz Waxman, Sabin Pautza, Leroy Anderson and Leonard Bernstein. Singers with ages between 13 and 18 years will take to the stage during the performance .

Also, Stefan Banica will hold a concert on Saturday from 8:30 pm at Plaza Romania Mall. The event is organized by Plaza Romania, the Mayor Office of District 6, via the European Cultural Center of Sector 6.

Jazz lovers can enjoy a jazz concert at ARTea tea house on Sunday from 7:30 pm and listen to Madalina Mantu, who will sing Christmas jazz songs. A reservation is required.
