What to do this weekend in Bucharest?

The last weekend of winter brings warm weather, spring atmosphere and fresh events! Here are the suggestions for this weekend.

On Friday is prepared at Puro&Bio the “Concert for Dragobete with Alma Nicole” from 7:30 PM. Alma Nicole will sing romantic songs, jazz songs, Brazilian songs, pop-rock and indie songs on guitar grooves.

Also on Friday Andra will hold a concert from 8 PM at Sala Palatului. The show is called „Love changes everything”, it will last for two hours and a half and will include several background changes, outfits and other suprises. Andra is one of the most popular artists from Romania, with a career of 16 years in music and 8 in television. In the last years she had national record views for every single.

There will also be a concert at Hard Rock Cafe, on Friday, from 10:30 PM, Speak Floyd, the tribute Romanian band, announcing a show with lights and sounds. Speak Floyd tries to remind the public about the songs that dominated the tops. The members of the band are Dudu Isabel (Seven), Sandy Deac, Kovacs ”Kovi” Laszlo, Janky Zsolt, Kolumban Zoli, Edi Raita ad Lazar Rudy.

Moreover, Freestay will hold a concert at Tribute, on Friday 24, from 10 PM. The band will sing international songs as well as Romanian songs on rock, pop-rock and even Romanian country music grooves.

On Saturday and Sunday will take place the Bounty Fair – fair for Martisor, at Casa Universitarilor, from 10 AM to 7 PM.  There will be a fair with handmade Romanian martisoare by talented Romanian artists with a wide range of styles. The access is based on a ticket worth RON 8 and for children up to 14 years have free entrance. The fair aims to make popular the creativity and Romanian talent and infom people about the quality of handmade products.

Theatre lovers can go to the play „Mecanica inimii” at Bulandra-Liviu Ciulei theatre on February 25, from 9 PM. Maia Morgenstern, Medeea Marinescu, Marian Ralea, Marius Manole, Dana Rogoz, Corina Moise, Serban Pavlu, Alexandru Bogdan, Cosmin Dominte are part of the distribution. The play is directed by Chris Simion, the sceneography is made by Adina Mastalier and the coreography by Irina Strungareanu.

Another fair that will take place this Saturday and Sunday is Dichisar de Martisor – Fun, Food & Sisterhood at Impact Hub Bucharest from 9 AM to 8 PM. There will be 2 days of fun, food & alternative shopping. People are expected with a coffee an a strawberry cheesecake. The entrance is free.
