Wizz Air, the low-cost airline, will open three new flight lines from International Airport Suceava, to Treviso, Bologna and Roma Ciampino, Italy. Besides these, there will be special flights to Rome, Bologna and Milano for the passengers from Suceava at the middle of April and more often during the summer season, in Italy and UK.
The new routes have been launched six months after the first Wizz flight from Suceava airport.
Romania is a key market for Wizz Air and its presence increased significantly since its launch on the Romanian market in 2007. It offers low-cost flights on 133 flight lines in 20 countries from 10 airports from Romania.
“We are glad to offer today new services for Bucovina clients. We continue to expand our regional network and support the local labor market in aviation and tourism sectors,” said Sorina Ratz, communications manager at Wizz Air.
In 2016 the company offered 4,190 jobs in the associated industries from Romania.
Wizz Air has over 750 direct employees in Romania.
