BDR Associates Communication Group posted revenues of over RON 2.8 million in the first half of this year, from specialized consultancy and strategic communication services provided to Romanian and foreign clients, according to a press release.
In the first six months of the year, the turnover of the agency hiked by 25 percent compared to the similar period of last year.
Approximately 40 percent of the revenues were generated by consultancy in strategic communication and the rest of 60 percent from specialized services as well as public affairs projects.
“We have reasons to rejoice over the posted indicators, but we are doing this with caution as far as the last quarter of the year is concerned, given that this is an election year, which means potential investors interested in Romania are sitting on the fence, while other economic sectors which have communication needs will stagnate,” said Catalina Rousseau, president and CEO of BDR Associates.
Rousseau also added the growth in revenues allowed the agency to spend 12 percent more on its team, compared to the previous year.
In the first half of the year, BDR Associates added 10 new clients to its portfolio in Romania, among which Chep, KPS Diagnostics Laboratory Hungary, Vaillant Romania.
In The Republic of Moldova, the agency won new clients such as the Ministry of Justice, Finance in Motion, GmbH & The Moldova National Bank, USAID BRITE Program in Moldova and Intercontinental Hotels.
BDR Associates aims to consolidate its presence in The Republic of Moldova as well as other external markets where it can find communication projects.
In the first half of the year, communication trends pointed in the sphere of strategic consultancy services such as crisis management, construction of message, communication across media outlets, and industry-specific training, which were requested by companies and institutions.
