Romanian PM Dacian Ciolos and Labour Minister Dragos Pislaru traveled to Italy to meet Tuesday with the Romanian citizens injured in the Italian earthquake.
The prime minister will meet on Tuesday in the Amatrice camp with the four Romanian citizens injured in the Italian earthquake as well as with the relatives of those affected by the deadly quake.
In the evening, Ciolos and Pislaru will participate in the state funeral held in Amatrice. The funeral will also be attended by Italian president Sergio Matarella and PM Matteo Renzi.
The August 24 earthquake that hit the Italian peninsula in the early morning hours left 290 dead and injured many. Nearly 2,700 people were left homeless after the temblor.
On August 30 the death toll among Romanian citizens stands at 7. Currently, the MAE informs, only one person is reported missing. The bodies of the deceased will arrive in the country on August 30.
