Floria Group has purchased the flower shop at Bucharest’s Henri Coanda Airport and will turn it into its sixth space after a total investment of over EUR 50,000.

In the upcoming months the space will be turned into one that fits the Floria concept. “The development plans of the Floria flower shops network targets expansion, either by purchasing functional flower shops that we can remodel after the Floria concept, or by franchising the concept alongside our partners. Launching a new Floria flower shop is not out of the question, provided that we find the appropriate spaces, but we are more interested in taking over existing flower shops,” said Andreea Uceanu, Floria Network director general.

In 2017, Floria expanded by adding to its network two spaces: Floria Baneasa, opened at Baneasa Shopping City in March, Floria Ploiesti. The total investment for the year exceeds EUR 100,000.

“On the one hand we sought to strengthen our position, especially in the online area where we have been leaders for years via Floria.ro, but also for the flower shops that are already opened. But on the other hand, it is important to continue the development, both in the corporate segment […], as well as  by taking over new spaces that bring the Floria brand closer to offline consumers,” Uceanu explained.
