Kiss FM, Radio Romania Actualitati and Radio Zu top the list of the most listened national radio stations

Kiss FM, Radio Romania Actualitati, Radio Zu and ProFM were the most listened to radio channels this spring, according to the Radio Audience Survey (SAR), carried out between January 13- April 27 by IMAS and GfK Romania. The survey was carried out on 9,434 people above 11 years old, with an error margin of around 1 percent.

The total number of radio users in Romania was 11,104,500, representing a slight decrease compared to the spring of 2013 when there were 11,483,600 listeners.

Kiss FM topped the list of the most listened radio websites, with 2,259,100 listeners daily and 11.2 percent market share, down from 2,443,400 listeners from spring 2013.

On the second position comes Radio Romania Actualitati, with 2,021,000 listeners, growing from 1,925,800 listeners and a growing market share of 15.2 percent.

Radio ZU comes third, with 1,636,900 listeners, down from 1,925,800 in spring 2013 and a market share of 8.6 percent.

The top is completed by ProFM with 1,518,700 listeners and 7.4 percent market share, Europa FM with 1,298,600 listeners and 7.5 percent market share, Radio Antena Satelor with 760,100 listeners and 6.7 percent market share, Magic FM with 727,100 listeners and 4.3 percent market share, Radio 21, with 706,200 listeners and 3.8 percent market share, Radio Romania Iasi with 419,000 listeners and 2.7 percent market share and finally, Radio Romania Oltenia Craiova with 321,700 listeners.

Kiss FM is the most listened-to radio channel in the urban environment, followed by Radio Romania Actualitati, Radio ZU, Europa FM, ProFM, Magic FM and Radio 21.

In Bucharest, Radio ZU is the most listened to radio channel, with 256,400 listeners a day and 12.4 percent market share, followed by Radio Romania Actualitati, Kiss FM, Magic FM, ProFM and Radio 21.
